Cat goes crazy for these
I have no clue how they make these so loved, but my cat reacts to me chaking the package of these and will always willingly go along with my basic training when I pull them out. They're high quality meat, so I accept the cost for the price and break the big chunks up. Definitely a great tool for a food motivated or low motivation cat. Mine doesn't react like this to ay other fancy or "trash food" cat treat.

A helpful tool for encouraging eating when ill
My feelings about Thrive are similar to those regarding Lick-e-lix yoghurt tubes. My cat absolutely adores them, they've been an invaluable tool for encouraging eating when sick or getting him to engage with his physio exercises. When we have Thrive treats at home we find he is generally more active and mobile, mostly because he spends so much time trying to find them. The downside for me is lack of transparency regarding nutritional values and not understanding what makes them so addictive - to the point our cat has injured himself by falling off high surfaces trying to get to them and sometimes seems a bit agitated without them. Thrive claims to have no 'nasties' which is great, however I can't find proper nutritional information. This is important with elderly cats, information regarding sodium and phosphorus levels are key to helping CKD kitties. I have noticed my cat needing to drink more water following the Tuna treats in particular, which make me wonder about sodium levels and worry about dehydration. My worries aside, these treats have been fabulous for encouraging eating when our cat isn't feeling his best. Moderation is key so we no longer offer them as treats but will crumble 1/2 a treat over his food when he's lost his appetite.

Both my cats like them!
One of my cats is notoriously difficult to please when it comes to food. One day he's crazy about ham, the next he won't even look at it. It's been rough trying to find anything that he consistently likes aside from his kibble! He gave his seal of approval multiple times over for all flavours except the chicken liver which he staunchly refuses to even nibble at. Luckily my other kitty will eat just about anything (much to my chagrin!) so they weren't wasted in this household. The only things that bother me are first, that some tubes arrive a little emptier than others. I told myself it's simply because it goes by weight and one meat may be heavier than another so with that assumption it's fine I suppose. And also that the tubes reek so strongly of fish that even keeping them in a zipped pouch in a closed drawer isn't enough to fully eliminate the smell. It doesn't stink the room out, mind. But if you walk past there's a distinct whiff! I wouldn't dare store anything else in the same drawer. But again, I told myself it's the sacrifice made when packaging uses less plastic. So I can tolerate it for our green earth! Will be buying again!

The cat just loves these she would eat them all the time if she got the chance.
Nice size tubes, can just pop in the draw where I sit so can easily reach them.the cat loves all the flavours but the chicken is the favourite.

My cats love the Fish Variety
This is the only Treat product my Birman cats will eat. They are 100% fish, freeze dried into cubes, so I do not worry if they have a few more than normal.
