LORAC Take A Brow Kit

The color ended up being darker than I expected, but that's not really a problem. I have medium brown eyebrows, but I dye my hair a lighter and redder shade than my natural color so I try to avoid darkening my eyebrows when I fill them in. I thought when I bought this from looking at the product image that I'd probably end up using mostly the darker color, but it turns out that the lighter color is pretty much perfect. Aside from being surprised by the color, I have very few quibbles. It's not quite perfect since it's a little more work than I'd like. It takes a little time to mix the color with the wax (which I prefer to applying the color first and then the wax as it better avoids fallout) and then a few trips to the palette to get my eyebrows filled in. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to makeup though, so I think most people would find this to be easy and quick.I've tried other powders, pencils, liquids, and even a mousse applied via mascara-type brush and this is my favorite product so far for final look, but I still prefer the pencils for ease.

I've tried a bucket of eyebrow products, this one works and I use it every dayFirst apply primer, included, this keeps the product in place all day. I have blonde hair and I'm fair skinned. I ordered the "blonde" and the color is perfect. Thank you Lorac!

I've never used an eyebrow product before so was a little apprehensive to begin with but it's a very simple process made easier by a quality product. Once applied, it will stay on all day except maybe if you were swimming but for a normal day, it will last all day and wipes away cleanly and easily with simple makeup remover. Very happy that I ordered it and plan on doing it again when I run out. Thank You!

I love this product as it is so pigmented-- a little goes a long way. The eyebrow wax came in handy as well, although it took me a bit to realize that I was supposed to apply it with the brush after i filled in my brows. The only downside to this is how soft the pigments are... I have a feeling this palette isnt going to last long, especially since the kit is so tiny.

This little kit reduced my brow time routine a lot. I love the wax and love the lighter color. The package is cute but poorly designed. The brush that comes with it is suitable for the wax application which is what I use it for but must use a better brush fr the powder.

I'd been wanting to switch from a pencil to a powder eyebrow kit for awhile, so when I ran out of pencil recently, I ordered this Take a Brow kit. I was reluctant to order other, similar kits made for brunettes because the color seemed so dark in the photos...my hair is dark brown and my eyebrows and eyelashes are jet black, so I need an eyebrow color that brings them closer to my hair color. Anything too dark and I look like Groucho Marx. This kit seemed a more moderate brunette tone in the pics, but we know how on-line pics can be deceiving...well, I wasn't disappointed, and am in fact very happy! A little goes a LONG way; you only have to touch the pigment with the brush bristles VERY slightly and you have more than enough to finish a brow. Wow! This kit was four times the price of my usual pencil but it'll easily last ten times as long. I've inspected my handiwork in my house under my lighting and it looks great. I have then checked it out under my work lighting (crap fluorescent) and the unforgiving light of day in my car, and it still looks great. Much better than the pencil ever did. I'm glad I took a chance on this product though nobody on Amazon had reviewed it yet. I see no need to try another product. I will continue to purchase this kit as long as Lorac makes it.

I've been using the Lorac "Take a Brow" kit for years and have loved it. In fact 1 kit lasted me two years. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an economical but not cheap brow powder.Bonus, powders can be blended to get the perfect match. I use a combo of a powder from the Auburn and Brunette kits.

I am a redhead (red with blonde hints) and this is really a great match for filling in my naturally nearly clear eyebrows! I use a different brown brush to apply and do not use the wax because it is too thick and I really don't need it. The powder is very high quality and I only have to apply once a day on most days.
