Is this stuff supposed to be gritty? Like an exfoliant? I thought it would be smooth. Also so thick it won’t spread without a lot of pressure

Has anyone used this for eczema flare ups? My skin cracks, opens up, burns and itches.

Product arrived and has a gritty texture! is this correct? previous orders have had a smooth ointment.
