100% worth it.
I don't know if this is my favorite purchase of 2020, but it's pretty high up there. We left the doors open the first day or two to make sure the cat could see the litter box hadn't disappeared, but she figured it out super quick probably without needing that. And now after a month or two, the cat freaking loves it. She literally just hangs out in the little cubby opening occasionally scratching the scratch pad. She runs to it if she's ever scared by something (loud noises, the wind blew too hard, the dog looked at her funny, etc.) and wants to feel safe. Slightly weird in fact, but I'm not complaining. From a human and non-cat perspective, I like it because:- It helps a ton with tracked litter especially combined with a litter mat right in front- It helps slightly contain smells (not significantly if the cat's freshly used the litter box, but better than before when the litter box was just hanging out in the room)- The extra storage space is great - I keep a little dustpan inside next to the litterbox for sweeping up litter, and could probably store more miscellaneous stuff if I needed to, like a cleaner or nail clippers, etc.- Useful as a general surface and blends in perfectly with my decor - you'd never know I owned a cat, if not for the cat tree, pictures of cats on my wall, and the cat herself- It's super easy to access/clean and especially nice to not care about the interior of the cabinet. Did the cat kick a bunch of litter out? Poop outside the litterbox? Vomit up a hairball inside the cabinet (yes she did that once, ugh)? You can clean it up, spray/wipe it down, and then not care at all if it stained because the door just closes and nobody will ever see it. Thanks kitty.Assembly was as straightforward as any piece of IKEA furniture / any other piece of furniture I've ever bought on Amazon (although I always have a partner to assemble furniture with, so YMMV). No issues at all with our doors, hinges, handles, or magnets - all in good working order. The white paint/veneer scratches somewhat easily, but see above my point that it's nice not to have to care too hard about that. For what it's worth, it's expensive, but just about as expensive as any other console/cabinet you'll find (I looked for IKEA cabinets to try and hack - there weren't any that were significantly cheaper that would've made it worth my time vs. buying this ready to go). So I'd say it's pretty decent value for money.

Great aesthetically pleasing litter box
We were looking for a nice hidden litter box. There are a ton out there so it’s hard to know which one will work versus which one is going to get disgusting or look tacky. This one has worked great we actually bought two as it matches our house wonderfully. I will also mention it’s not assembly so be prepared to put it together yourself. If that’s not something you want to do then this might not be the best model for you.I also recommend to look for a enclosed corner litter box to use with it. I found one here on Amazon that fit perfectly. The unit itself is too small for a full enclosed litter box and I didn’t feel comfortable just using an open one since the unit itself is obviously made of wood. So the corner box worked perfectly. We haven’t had any problems and I think the design does a good job containing any litter smells. We had our first one for over a year and a half before purchasing the second and we have not had any problems with either. We put each litter box overlooking a window and put two cats beds on top. The cats love sitting on it and using the litter box. I highly recommend it.

Nice way to hide a litter box -- looks like a contemporary piece of furniture.
I'm using this because I live in a 2-bedroom,2-bath 1000 sq ft condo, and there's no space at all to hide a litter box -- imagine 2 cats and 2 litter boxes. That's an eyesore that I couldn't hide. And worse when the cats kick the litter out of the litter boxes. This is an excellent solution. The Cat Washrooms are stackable and I used the 4 extra feet unused on the top for the bottom Cat Washroom. Assembly is a bit cumbersome -- but not more so than any Ikea-like product. There's an instruction manual that's written in Ikea-ese, but not too hard to follow. I would say that any reasonable handy person with a decent Phillips-head screwdriver can manage. I have the Cat Washrooms in the Guest Bedroom, and I put "Magic Sliders" on the feet so that if a guest stays over, the Cat Washrooms stacked can be moved out into the hallway temporarily. I might place a TV on top. The units look like a cabinet or credenza. Nobody would guess what they are. Excellent design.

So messy!!! UPDATE
Updated review:We switched to pine pellets instead of regular litter and notice a significant difference in tracking inside and outside of it. We also switched to a stainless steel litter box, which was able to fit "around the corner" in the hidden area so my dog can't find it. I felt I needed to change my review from 2 to 4 stars since it is a nice little end table and whatnot, but don't use regular litter in it. So much easier and cleaner with pine pellets, and smells better since the pellets turn their pee into sawdust. Obviously when they poop you'll smell that right away, but I may add a deodorizer in there. I use a box of baking soda but I'm not sure it works that well.Original review:I really wanted this litter box "end table" to work, but it's not. My cats leave such a mess inside and outside of it. I switched to this specifically to deter litter tracking and a curious puppy (gross...). Unfortunately, I find myself vacuuming up so much wasted litter that the cats apparently kick out of the area inside, and there's always lots of litter around the plastic bin inside. We try to use a puppy pee pad to help inside, but they chew or scratch it and then it's more of a mess to clean. I find more poop outside on my floor, which is disgusting, than inside the litter bin. This didn't happen with our previous one, which was the litter box that looks like a fake potted plant. I feel like I'm at my wit's end. My only idea at the moment is to put up a sort of curtain to the entrances to deter the litter from going outside. Also, I notice it smells a lot more in that room than before. So gross... :(
