Great for cooking, and love that it is shelf-stable without the flavor of the can. This milk has NOT changed the flavor of any of my recipes so far. We don't enough milk to always need a carton so this is a practical substitute. Hubby tried drinking one by itself with a couple of cookies and he says it's okay, and drinkable as-is. Better than canned or powdered, but still not the same as fresh - so 4 stars instead of 5. But, if you are looking for an alternative to canned milk that's much better than powdered, this works.

Once you get it really cold it has the same taste , texture, creaminess and it’s thick just like straight to refrigerate milk. I wasn’t sure, I started by buying this products refrigerator only milk, and if you drink a lot of milk daily you’ll love it.
