Saucony Originals Women's Shadow 6000 Sneaker

I got fitted with this particular brand and model of running shoe when I first started running in 1991. I've been wearing this model ever since because it fits so well and provides me the support and cushioning I need. I have a wide foot and a high arch.The one downside about this shoe is that it gets dirty easily and really doesn't come clean after that so I use my "new pair" indoors only and my old pair for running until the day that something happens to my new clean ones and then they becoming my outdoor running/walking pair. I'm not that crazy about the color or decoration....I just love the fit. That's what really counts.

I decided to try Saucony shoes due to the many 4 and 5 star reviews. I ordered a pair of these shoes in a size 9W. due to some of the reviews stating that Saucony's tend to run smaller. I had to return them because they were so big. I reordered them in a size 8W. even though I usually wear a size 8 1/2 in other running shoes. The shoes fit well except the wide width is a bit too wide for me, but I think if I went with a medium width, they might be too tight. Anyway, I tighten the laces as well as I can, and they feel pretty good. They're comfortable for walking and they do look like the picture. If you can find the right fit, this is a really good, comfortable shoe right out of the box. I would have given 5 stars if the width had been a better fit.I also bought a pair of Saucony Grid Excursion TR5 and got a size 9 1/2W in that particular shoe. So basically, it's a good idea to go to a store and try them on, then order the correct size online if you find a better price. Shoe Carnival has most of the Sauconys in stock at reasonable prices.

THEY ARE HUGE!??? not my first time ordering, so I immediately threw away the box...EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED:(

The sneakers are very cushy yet supportive. The heel to mid-sole is reinforced in a neutral manner. They are very comfortable once you get the correct size. You need at least a half size larger than norm and possibly a full size larger. They are tapered and a little narrow at the toe. I normally wear an 8WW, in Saucony I usually wear an 8 1/2W, but I needed a 9W in these.

Love the fit of the shoe. It fit as expected. Very comfortable. Would buy it again. I'm not a runner, so not sure how it wears or feels for a runner, but I love them.

I love to wear these runners, they are soooooooooooo comfortable, they feel like I am walking on marshmellows!!!!! which is the reason why i purchased the Saucony brand, because of their comfort. I must admit that I only wear them occasionally because I don't want to wear them out or scuff them . I have not washed them, but I did use a water-proof spray on protection and it helps to keep them looking nice.
