I've been playing guitar for something like 30 years and gig regularly, along the way I have used pretty much every brand of lead going. It definitely pays to use a decent quality cable as they are so much more reliable, and a cheapo cable really can suck your tone! I stumbled across these Planet Waves cables recently and was so impressed that I have now swapped out all of my leads for these! The build quality is great, they even feel good quality to the touch, no loss of tone, and a lifetime guarantee. They are also sensibly priced - definitely recomended.

Planet Waves in my opinion make the best instrument cables in the world. The sound quality is never compromised despite the price point being similar to that of their competitors.I've been using the same 2/3 cables for more than 3 years now and they've never let me down. Comparatively, I've had Fender cables just cut out mid-gig which is not ideal.If you're a musician of any decent stock, you should definitely use Planet Waves. If I can't convince you then the Lifetime Guarantee should.

As with all Planet Waves cables this example is of superb quality. Its quite a heavy cable but the benefits are worth the slight weight penalty. I use this cable on a Taylor GC8 electric acoustic into an AER compact 60 amp. The clarity and volume increase when using this cable is quite amazing. A quality cable and good value. Highly recommended.

I needed a cable with a 'bent'/angled head to accommodate a reverb pedal for my pedalboard. I tried with a 'normal' cable, but it just took up unwanted space and was awkward, as it didn't allow the pedal to sit properly and jarred against other pedals/cables.I've stuck to Planet Waves for all my guitar cable needs, they have yet to disappoint, this cable extends that trend.
