Heartbeat: Series 12
I really enjoy Heartbeat series 12, think it's maily because we see The Royal for the first time and who can't love Sister Brigid? Anyway, we see a few changes this series, we lose Dr Tricia Summerbee in a very upsetting accident, we welcome Dr James Alway for a few episodes, before having Dr Liz Merrick for the rest of the series.We also say hello to PC Steve Crane due to DC Mike Bradley getting promoted & having to leave the area. Oh and Gina's niece comes in for a few episodes too.Disk 1:Series 12 – Episode 1: Skeletons and Cupboards (6th October 2002)Series 12 – Episode 2: A Girl's Best Friend (13th October 2002)Series 12 – Episode 3: A Dog's Life (20th October 2002)Series 12 – Episode 4: Where There's Muck (3rd November 2002)Disk 2:Series 12 – Episode 5: Harmony (10th November 2002)Series 12 – Episode 6: No Man's Land (17th November 2002)Series 12 – Episode 7: Dirty Len (24th November 2002)Series 12 – Episode 8: Growing Apart (1st December 2002)Disk 3:Series 12 – Episode 9: Many Splendoured Thing (8th December 2002)Series 12 – Episode 10: Horses for Courses (15th December 2002)Series 12 – Episode 11: Sins of the Father (22nd December 2002)Series 12 – Episode 12: Bread and Circuses (29th December 2002)Disk 4:Series 12 – Episode 13: For Whom the Bell Tolls (5th January 2003)Series 12 – Episode 14: Out of the Blue (12th January 2003)Series 12 – Episode 15: The High Life (9th March 2003)Series 12 – Episode 16: Hung for a Sheep (16th March 2003)Disk 5:Series 12 – Episode 17: The Third Man (23rd March 2003)Series 12 – Episode 18: Missing in Action (30th March 2003)Series 12 – Episode 19: Caped Crusaders (6th April 2003)Disk 6:Series 12 – Episode 20: Moving Target (13th April 2003)Series 12 – Episode 21: Lily of the Valley (20th April 2003)Series 12 – Episode 22: House Rules (27th April 2003)Disk 7:Series 12 – Episode 23: Mackerel Sky (4th May 2003)Series 12 – Episode 24: Absent Friends (11th May 2003)Series 12 – Episode 25: Music of the Spheres (18th May 2003)10 Years Of Heartbeat – ITV Documentary (14th April 2002)

Heartbeat - The Complete Series 12
I've not watched this series yet, but if it's anything like the ones I've watched already, I will be very pleased. The story lines have improved 100% and never predictable. I am on Series 11 at the moment and have never enjoyed a series so much. Worth buying the whole 18 series.

Classic British Drama
The final part of my collection. An excellent series with lots of nostalgic moments. Its fair to say the earlier episodes were a lot grittier with better storylines than the 'weekly scam' of both Bernard Scrips or Peggy Armstrong which seemed to make it a comedy programme rather than a drama. The series had to end as there is only so much you can milk from a cash cow!As with all the series, it is unfortunate that the Beatles had to be dubbed due to copyright issues but apart from that quality British drama.

Must see viewing.
The sheer brilliance of the writers and the actors in Heartbeat, combined with just about every human emotion from comedy to love and loss makes this series unique. I first started watching it on television years ago, and then years later I was able to access the dvd's. I became hooked instantly, but the writers and the actors do tug on the heart strings in the way they are written out of the series. The stories are so good they can be re visited, so many famous names have come foreward to portray indididual characters. Nothing lasts forever but with its global audience I hope the series continues for many years to come. Finally it has to be said that the setting in the Yorkshire Dales and moors adds the final touch.

Heartbeat .... Still great after 12 seasons
Love it, Love it, Love it.....The Heartbeat series is hard on Doctors I admit, but even when you lose a character--you really do not feel loss for long--as the writers bring in an equally wonderful replacement. I will watch this series year after year, so I collect them as quickly as I finish one.....I am ordering another. Fantastic family-friendly viewing, great moral lessons (usually by the loveable rouges on how not to do things) and very entertaining.
