This easily beats the original sambal for me. The flavor is deeper and more balanced, and the spice level is spot on without being overwhelming. It works great on eggs, pizza, and pretty much anything that needs a little heat. I ended up reaching for this more than I expected and will definitely grab another bottle if it comes back.

I've tried different chili sauces in the past, and this Dragon Sambal Sauce is BY FAR THE BEST I've ever had. The taste is just amazing, with a nice kick of heat. I also tried their "Garlic Chili Sauce, which also taste fantastic if you want some garlic flavor in the mix. But I like this Dragon Sambal Sauce the best (since I don't always necessarily want the garlic taste every time). I use this sauce on all kinds of foods (Asian dishes, as a hot relish on sandwiches, etc). This is the ONLY chili sauce I'll be using from now on! Excellent price as well for 2 bottles.

This is a high quality product and was one of the only brands available during the red jalapeno shortage due to droughts. I like that it is an United States based company.

Great tasting Sambal. Good strong chile flavor and a good level of heat reminding you it is spicy. I make my own with Fresno, Red Jalapeno, and Red Thai chiles, and this is a good substitute and better than the rooster brand in my opinion.

Better pepper flavours coming through. Less sulphur. Price is the big deal here. Look wisely.
