I have very soft, thin, just past my shoulder length hair. My hair immediately slips out of this if I don’t have styling products in for grip. With styling products, hair spray, texture spray, etc it did hold and I really did love how it looked! Easy to use and seem sturdy.

These are super duper sturdy! I am glad it came with 2! Very big clips for the price and and the quality is higher than I thought! They both fit well and the earth tones are so cute. They’re super thick and bendable. I’d definitely recommend

These shipped on time and arrived with no issues. They are hard to snap open until they loosen up with consistent use. My only gripe with these is that they are not like the old school banana clips I had in high school. Those were longer and conformed to the shape of your head. These seem like they can only hold hair on the back of my head. I can't seem to pull it to the top without the tip of the clip popped up.

These banana clips are definitely made for thick hair. They’re matte (not shiny like in the pictures), which looks nice but does affect how they work. The clasp is strong and opens on both ends, which is actually pretty cool cause you don’t have to guess which side opens. That said, the design makes it a little tricky to grab all your hair in one smooth move. If you try the usual “scoop all the hair and clip” method, it can get tangled. Because of the matte finish, the combs don’t glide easily and kind of drags through the hair instead of sliding smoothly. I am returning these.

I need to grow my hair out longer again to use them. Works better on thicker hair.
