KILZ 3 Premium Primer, Interior/Exterior, 5 Gallon

I had mold in my bathroom, even after I cleaned it with bleach the stains were still there. I used this paint, 2 coats and it’s perfect. No bleeding and the white is a perfect pure white with some shine.

KILZ latex primer is a water-based paint that covers easily and dries evenly and quickly. It dries a flat/matte bright white color and it is easy to use. It is low odor and worked fantastically on window frames and all areas I applied the paint. A little goes a long way and it was extremely useful when I was refreshing areas of my home. It serves well primer/sealer/stain blocker. It is a protective paint and I am very happy with my choice. It was also thought of highly by the professional painters that were painting high ceilings in my home. They liked that it was water-based and not oil.

Product is awesome. What more can I say? Product arrived in good shape and it’s a good quality product.

I used this as a primer to cover a dark red wall (based on Brad the Painter's web site recommendation). I possibly could have gotten away with 2 coats but used 3 to make sure the red would be completely cover ( I was going to white from red). Very pleased with the coverage and result of finished wall.

I’ve been painting my house for the last year. I’ve used a lot of different primers and so far this is my favorite. It’s thick, has less drippage, and the coverage is awesome. The drawback is it’s expensive but I feel it’s worth the extra money because one coat coverage does the job. I got a good deal on this one but sadly it was lost or damaged during shipping. That was frustrating after waiting weeks for it.

I used just a little bit that I put on a ice cream box.Even a couple of week later, it is still not dried. This is awesome!

I've not had this primer and its Kilz deck paint on long enough to report anything significant yet, but after I've observed its performance against other highly recommended primer/paint combos I will update this review.
