I mounted mine on the back of the molle in my Jeep using velcro. The axe is sturdy and sharp.

bought it for a home defence option. sits beside the couch. looks great. for sure will be affective if necessary. didnt buy it for an every day ax. when you look at the similar products and their costs....G this is a good deal. I would think it is to heavy as a throwing ax. The hole in the actual ax is to small to put your fingers in. I thought it would be a good carrying option but it is not.

Definitely not balanced for throwing, overall for the money it’s not bad, the handle is plastic, but mounted to a full tank so it should be sufficient unless you abuse it if you’re looking for a hatchet to throw in the camp box that also can serve as a hammer and prybar this may be your tool. As with most devices design for multiple task, it’s not perfect for any one of them, but is a compromise that allows you more options and in one piece of equipment. If you’re looking for a work tool purchase a high-end hatchet or if you want to showpiece get a high-end tactical hatchet.

I bought this because another company was selling something very very similar for twice the price but this had all of the same options plus some like the cover for the pry bar on the bottom- which is somewhat sharp. Also came very sharp.

This thing arrived very sharp. Without much effort I was able to stick it to a downed tree while I pulled to move it. A good amount of weight as well. Some will choose not to take it backpacking with them but anything over a couple of inches will make this a valuable addition.

The pry bar cover is loose and tends to fall off but still a good product.

What a perfect size. The weight of it is outstanding. The edge is sharp and has retained its sharpness well. Overall the quality of this item is phenomenal.
