Still going strong, worth it!
Great battery! It looks like the picture. Since the pandemic, I had already gone through one new battery before buying this one over a year ago. Simply because I don't drive as much. Now, it keeps a charge and my car starts with no problem. Hopefully I didn't jinx myself there. No power drains either. Highly recommend it and worth the extra $$$ over your average battery.

You wont go wrong with a n Optima battery!
These are excellent batteries. I had one in my CJ-7 for 20 years before it went bad and that was because it got damage during jumping another jeep.

Go to battery
This is and has always been my go to choice of car battery. I have full trust that when that key turns, my car is going to sing to life. They have never left me stranded. The one thing I do dislike is when they do go dead, the go DEAD. There is no recharging, there is no repairing, no fancy charger is going to bring it back That battery is kaput. It's a good thing it always get years of use out of it. Well worth the money.

Terrible battery, don't waste your money, battery replaced in 13 months
I rarely write reviews but feel I need to put something on for this battery. I had a five year old battery in my fishing truck. I drive the truck about once a week but noticed that on cold days after sitting a week it would need to sometimes be jump started. I had a local major auto parts store test the battery (and charging system) and it said replace the batteryI decided to order the Optima battery from Amazon and made a huge and very expensive mistake. I figured it would be more durable for the application. The battery was fine for a while but I had the truck at a shop for a few weeks waiting on parts. After that, the battery wouldn't hold a charge for an entire week without a jump.I contacted Optima who told me to discharge and recharge to de-sulfate the battery. I did that and left it on a charger or tender regularly. If I had to jump start it, I could drive it around and it would restart no problem. Once I left it a few days, it would need to be jumped or charged. Mind you , my 5 year old Walmart battery I replaced with the Optima performed better. Finally today, I had to jump the truck and drove it at highway speeds for over an hours. I parked it for 30 minutes and it needed a jump. All the while the alternator was charging fine and there were no issues. I took it to the same large auto parts store and the test showed the battery was bad. I bought a new, non-optima battery and got rid of this awful thing. When talking with the parts person, she informed me she had a yellow top Optima that wouldn't hold a charge if her car sat a week as well but her Walmart special (not the store she works in) was fine sitting for weeks on end. I believed that Optima batteries are overpriced, and overhyped. This was my first and last one. Notwithstanding the fact that once contacted, Optima said I would have to go through Amazon for a return. I just ate the cost of the battery.Lessons learned: 1. Don't get an Optima battery. 2. If you purchase an Optima battery, buy it IN A STORE. Optima doesn't care to assist in replacing their crappy product they just want the seller to deal with it. Save your money, get a regular battery. Support your local auto parts store.

My car's battery was dead as a doornail
I tried jumping it, tried charging it - nothing. I've owned the car for a couple of years now and that battery was in it when I bought it (and my car is older), so I have no idea how long it was in my car prior to my purchase. So...while I wish batteries weren't so expensive, this one is right in the costs of recommended batteries for my vehicle. I also did check on the cost to have someone bring a new battery which also required I pay for installation meaning TWICE (and a little more) than the cost of this battery!!! I have very little money to spare, so...I bought this battery, took out the old battery, although I had to have help to get the old VERY heavy battery out (my male next door neighbor helped pull it out of the engine bay as I am a 70-year-old lady with no upper body strength. This battery was actually lighter weight so I could pick it up and set it on the battery plate and that is the only downside is that this battery came with a bottom that could be used on the old battery platform EXCEPT that the way my battery platform ties down is this long screwtop with a J-hook bottom that hooked into a small spot in the original battery platform and the ones that were sent with this battery didn't have any way to use it with that J-hook and screw-top piece that was NEEDED to tie down my battery. Other than that, I was able to tie down and hook up this battery very easily. I did my little prayer that the car start after hook up and my car purred to life and works so well my neighor who stopped to see how I was doing said, "You just replaced the battery?" His eyebrows up, he added, "And it's running?" My car runs so quiet even with the hood still up he couldn't hear it running! So, all I can say is while I wish batteries weren't so dang expensive, this one worked perfectly. I'm happy with it as my car is back to running - what's not to love about that?
